Alumnus of IIT Bombay mastered in visual communication. Debut film - 'Vrithakrithyilulla Chathuram' (won Kerala state award for best background music in IFFK 2019). Second film - 'Aavasavyuham' (won FIPRESCI and NETPAC award for the best Malayalam in IFFK 2022). Web series "People in Transaction' won BEST DRAMEDY at Asia web awards. Directed the web series ‘Utsaha ithihasam -Saga of the spirited’ (won the ‘Best Comedy Drama’ at Seoul web fest in 2020). Was awarded the Best editor in MSIFF 2013 and won the Best cinematographer in the same year for the 48 hour film festival. Currently an Associate professor with IIT Bombay in the Industrial design department and an academician of Sacred hearts college.
Vishnu Prabhakar

Debuted in feature film ‘Aavasavyuham' got selected for IFFK 2022 and won the FIPRESCI award and the NETPAC award for the best Malayalam feature, it also bagged Kerala state award for best feature film. Became the cinematographer of web series "People in Transaction', which won the BEST DRAMEDY at Asia web awards. Worked on a webseries "Ennum Varunna Dhoomakedhu - Everyday Meteor" as Cinematographer which got selected for seoul webfest 2020. Was part of feature film ‘Vrithakrithyilulla Chathuram’ as Co-Cinematographer in 2018. Completed second feature film, ‘Vivaha avahanam”. Been part of many award-winning short films, documentaries, corporate videos, music videos and commercials.

Prayag Mukundan
Cinematographer
Prayag Mukundan is an Indian cinematographer working across Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi cinema. With an educational background in VFX, Animation Filmmaking, and cinematography, he developed his visual language under the mentorship of Biju D and cinematographers C. K. Muraleedharan ISC, Sudheer Palsane ISC, and Sujith Vaassudev ISC. His work spans documentaries, advertisements, short films, government projects, research collaborations with the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, and teaching engagements at various film schools. His notable films include Thurthu Nirgamana (Emergency Exit), Sangharsha Ghadana (The Art of Warfare), and Masthishka Maranam. He received the Kedamangalam Sadanandan Memorial Award for Best Cinematographer in 2013 and the CUMAC Best Cinematographer of the Year 2025 for Masthishka Maranam. His cinematography for Saakshaathkaram contributed to the film winning Best Short Fiction Film in the international competition at the Mumbai International Film Festival in 2020, while The Art of Warfare was showcased at the International Film Festival of Kerala, reflecting his distinctive visual storytelling and cinematic language.

Deepalekshmi Prakash
Research Associate
Deepalekshmi Prakash is a filmmaker and research scholar working at the intersection of cinema, gender, and performance. With a background in theatre and short films, her work explores emotional memory, identity, and the unseen psychological spaces of everyday life. She approaches storytelling as both a creative and critical practice, blending academic insight with cinematic expression.
She has worked as an Assistant Director and Associate Director on acclaimed short films, and has completed a direction course at FTII (2021). Her scripts have been selected for platforms such as IDSFFK and the Kochi-Muziris Biennale. Her short films have been shortlisted at multiple festivals, with an entry watch for NDSF 2025. A published author of The Purple Plays: Between the Red Heat and the Blue Stillness, she was also among the ten poets recognized by the Times Business Channel in 2021. Her academic work has been published in UGC CARE and Scopus-indexed journals.

Dr. Rinu Krishna K (Sr. Research & Documentation Expert)
An English Language specialist and creative content producer with excellent skills in writing, editing, translation, research, and documentation, with more than 10 years of experience in the area. She holds a PhD in English and has several academic and non-academic published works to her credit. Her research and academic works focus on digital culture studies and critically explore the cultural representations of the animal body across media.
A cinema lover and critic, she is equipped with a keen eye for details, critical thinking, a research mindset, and observation skills. She has worked as a Sr. Research & Documentation Expert for ‘Chronicles of the 4.5 Gang’ (Sony Liv 2025) and has been a script translator for ‘Masthishka Maranam’ (Netflix 2026). She has edited and published ‘Postanimalities: Perspectives & Critiques’ (Amazon) and several articles across various UGC approved journals and poetry in ‘Women’s Era.’ She has been associated as an Editor and Creative Producer with Pocket FM and has worked with other media platforms.
